IF: Blur

Trying to photograph a running cheetah often results in just a blur.

(click to enlarge to see the blurry effect... it didn't work out as I wanted to...)

  1. Cheetah's are definitely fast! I think your blurred brush effect with watercolor and ink works quite well, keep up the good work!

  3. Hey thanks for stopping by my blog and for your very encouraging comments. Your cheetahs are terrific. I enlarged and got the full blur effect. Cheetahs are hard to capture , but you did it nicely!

  5. Hi Brigitte! I think these are great cheetahs and the blurry effect works well. They're like little snapshots from the bush. Very nice!

  8. Beautiful rendition of the fastest animal on all fours! The concept is alive and readable in your illustrations.

Have a great rest of the weekend.

  9. Hi Brigitte! So kind of you to pop by and visit. I thank you for your super nice words. All is well. As for your question about the illustration..I use Series 7 Winsor & Newton Sable brush "0". I just keep going back and add a little more detail here and there til I say it's "enough" (that's the hardest part). It's really been fun. I shall be back! Have a great week.
