Hey thanks for stopping by my blog and for your very encouraging comments. Your cheetahs are terrific. I enlarged and got the full blur effect. Cheetahs are hard to capture , but you did it nicely!
Hi Brigitte! So kind of you to pop by and visit. I thank you for your super nice words. All is well. As for your question about the illustration..I use Series 7 Winsor & Newton Sable brush "0". I just keep going back and add a little more detail here and there til I say it's "enough" (that's the hardest part). It's really been fun. I shall be back! Have a great week.
Cheetah's are definitely fast! I think your blurred brush effect with watercolor and ink works quite well, keep up the good work!
ReplyDeleteThanks for commenting on my Cheetah. These are cute, and I like the coloring.

ReplyDeleteHi Brigitte! I think these are great cheetahs and the blurry effect works well. They're like little snapshots from the bush. Very nice!
ReplyDeleteI think it looks great! Love the idea of the postcards!
ReplyDeleteIt's hard to capture animals in movement but I think you did a good job! =)
ReplyDeleteSweet postage stamps!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful rendition of the fastest animal on all fours! The concept is alive and readable in your illustrations.
ReplyDeleteHave a great rest of the weekend.
