That's a fun project, Brigitte, to paint the same illustration using different media. I like using color pencil as well, but it is a lot more time consuming than watercolors :-)
I love this interpretation of the theme! I came across your blog because I saw that you had also painted a brown pelican for the ripple project and we are both in the Netherlands.
Beiden olifanten zijn mooi gemaakt, maar de olifant getekend met Derwent Colorsoft's vind ik het mooist.
ReplyDeleteI love watercolor but the texture from the Derwent colorsoft's has so much more appeal...to me anyway. Love the illustration.
