Snow fun

A few days ago a lot of snow has fallen, more than we had for several years. Last sunday we went for a walk and made some pictures of the winter-wonderland.

Hurray!

... today my husband passed his final exam! Now he is ready with this study (and the next is probably waiting...).

IF: Hatch

When a seed falls in the ground and starts to grow, at a certain point the stem and first leaves will hatch and come to the surface (maybe a stretch to the meaning of hatch...).

When I was a child I loved these 'experiments' in biology-class: put a sunflower seed or peanut in the ground and see what happens. I was always amazed by this wonder of nature.

IF: Crunchy

There are all kinds of muesli's and cruesli's, one is more crunchy than the other. Sometimes they are so crunchy that other people at your breakfast table can't stand the noise...

Double-double

A few weeks ago I mentioned that I was going to start with a, for me, totally new project - drawing a portrait of a human. Well, I thought, let's make it simple and start with two double-portraits (in commission - else I would never have done it this way). Today I finished the drawings and I am quite happy with the results - for a first timer...
