Swan
At class, I had some time left after our exercise. Since I didn't bring much material with me, I decided to do something quick. A swan, done in charchoal and white pastel, on grey paper. Format: about 12 x 12 cm.

AW: Seagull
At class, before the holidays, I made this quick drawing of a seagull. It was an exercise with tinted charcoal: I had read that is was possible to play with a waterbrush after drawing with tinted charcoal. The effects didn't work out as I had hoped, but I had fun with it.

Animal Wednesday: Chicken (part 2)
A few weeks ago I made this quick sketch of one of the chickens at my parents in law. From this sketch I created this drawing, made in tinted charcoal. This was very challenging, because there is only a limited palette.
20 x 25 cm

Herfst
Ik wilde dit onderwerp al heel lang tekenen, maar vaak kwam het er niet van. Afgelopen week toch maar een klein werkje opgezet: de denneappel. Gemaakt met getint houtskool.
