Triptych of hares (and a Happy Easter!)

Finished yesterday: a triptych of hares.
It tells the story of a shelter for wild hares. When they find young ones in the field, left alone by their parents (or because they were killed by a car), the shelter takes care of those little ones. When they are fully grown, they are released back in the wild.
Number three of the triptych is very special for the client: it was the one time that one of the raised boys turned around and looked back, when he was released (all images: click to enlarge).

This week we have another guest: meet Midnight. He is staying here for more than a week and I totally love him.

We have some guests!
Two cute guinea pigs, Saartje and Sonnetje (two ladies). A friend of mine is on holiday and I am happy to take care of these lovely animals for some time. We are teaching them to make that typical, whistling noise, guinea pigs are known for, when we gave them a treat: we rustle with a plastic bag before the treat is given. After three days, these girls are getting the hang of it ;)

IF: Giant

My husband thinks I was a mouse in my former life... I LOVE to eat cheese. So I am a kind of jealous at this mouse, with this giant piece of cheese.

Lazy sunny afternoon

Today I finished this drawing I was commissioned to do. These two rabbits are really enjoying the sun.
