Dutch proverb: "Als er één schaap over de dam is, volgen er meer".
Literal translation: "When one sheep has gone over the dam, the rest will follow"
Meaning: When one person has tried something new, the others are more willing to try it as well.

ReplyDeleteWow Brigitte! You really did this one great! Love the high horizon and the background. Your shhep are adorable! Nice one! Hey thanks for your visit!
ReplyDeleteWat is dit lief gemaakt. Dit zou zo leuk staan in een kinderboek. Mooi getekend.
ReplyDeleteSomeone always has to be the adventurous one...lovely fluffy sheep.
ReplyDeleteBrigitte! Awwww, I'd follow those adorable sheep anywhere. And I love the shades of green on the trees. Beautiful! There's so much truth to this saying. I've been watching this show on TV called Orangutan Island. Orangs, I recently learned, cannot swim because they have very little body fat. So when one successfully crosses the river using a fallen log, the others try to do it as well! Okay, I am babbling....
ReplyDeleteAnyway!
Looks like you had a fantastic summer! Mexico! Those photos are gorgeous, and the water looks clear and blue. Your Eclipse piece was amazing and dramatic! And I think I am in love with Senna. You create such amazing animal portraits! Wow!
Have a wonderful weekend!
This is fabulous. I love this, the innocence and courage combined comes through in this drawing. Wonderful!
